My Roses 'Ghan

I guess since I have a WIP bar for my Roses afghan I should also post pics. I decided that each row would be 10% and that the border would be the last 10%.

This is the one that I posted about losing, so I had to start over. I was almost through making the roses anyway then I lost it at a shelter. I don't know if someone picked it up and kept it or what but I hope whoever has it now enjoys all those roses ;)

Here's the first finished row, these are the 6 colors the lady chose for this afghan:

Gorgeous, Chatty. I can't believe someone was so crass as to steal your already done squares! A pox on them! Plus they got your hook. Now that would have me crying for days. hehehe

Thank you, DRH and Kimberly.

Kim, the good thing is all they got was a bag full of roses and a little yarn, I had my hook in another big bag. The squares weren't finished, I had just finished maybe a half dozen or so.

I still had to buy more yarn for more roses but I had my hook although I do have several in that size so it wouldn't have been such a big loss.

I've lived long enough to know that when something like this happens and there isn't anything much to do about it then let it go and get on with life.

God allows things like this to happen for a reason and I'm just trusting that someday I'll know why. Until then I'm not worrying about it.

That's going to be a beautiful afghan!! I'm glad you let us see it now, :) What pattern are you using?

It's an old pattern my mom had from a Red Heart book called Rose in Bloom. I don't recall the name of the book and I don't think you can get it but the square pattern is in 101 Crochet Squares-square 100. I just don't put the round of sc on it.

I really don't need a pattern, I can make the squares from memory.
